trackmy.shoes uses Strava data to provide shoe tracking and activity insights. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can request deletion.
1. Data we collect
- Strava account data you authorize, such as athlete profile fields, activities, and gear.
- Technical data required to run the app, such as session tokens and basic request logs.
2. How we use data
- Provide the trackmy.shoes features you requested.
- Sync changes from Strava and keep your data current.
- Maintain service security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
3. Sharing and disclosure
- We do not sell personal data.
- We share data only with processors needed to run the service (for example hosting, error monitoring, and billing providers).
- We may disclose data if required by law or to enforce legal rights.
4. Strava-specific commitments
- We access Strava data only after your authorization.
- We use Strava data only to provide trackmy.shoes functionality to you.
- We do not use Strava data for advertising, data brokerage, or AI model training.
- If you revoke consent in trackmy.shoes or Strava, we stop processing and delete your Strava data promptly unless legal retention is required.
5. Retention and your choices
- You can deauthorize from Settings, which removes your trackmy.shoes account and associated Strava data.
- You can also revoke access from your Strava account settings.
- You can request an export of your trackmy.shoes data (activities, gear, and shoe assignments) by contacting us at [email protected]. We will provide it in JSON or CSV format within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Security, children, and updates
- We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data.
- trackmy.shoes is not intended for children under 13.
- We may update this policy and will post the latest version on this page.
